“Far away, far away, Waste away tonight, I’m wearing my heart on a noose”
This is the first single from Green Day’s new album ¡Uno! which comes out September 25th 2012. I like this song. It feels very reminiscent of Warning in its style and sound. The video itself is nothing too special – a typical performance video sprinkled with some very attractive women to help spice it up. If this song is any indication of the sound of the new album as a whole, I’m very excited to hear the rest. Green Day is one of those bands that is always trying to evolve and do something new but it’s nice to hear some old familiar sounds in this one.
