CCP Ep. #58: 13 by Black Sabbath

We might announce, “All aboard the crazy train,” but that would be a misnomer; Ozzy’s back, true, but not alone! But don’t go anywhere, because then we pursue last week’s introduction to “the roles we assign to musical instruments” by starting us off with some familiar favorites.

  1. Hey guys thanks for the shout out! I’m in the midst of your podcast as I write this and am really enjoying it thus far. But to answer your questions yes the concert was a blast and they were amazing, and admittedly yes songs like End of the Beginning and Age of Reason are far better in a live environment especially when Iommi (Guitarist) is in full on live zen mode. Plus Ozzy’s almost ‘Warlord’ affect on the crowd really enthralls you in a way the studio cuts just don’t.

    • Hey Larry thanks for listening! Glad to hear that you’re enjoying it. Good to know that Ozzy can still command a crowd. He’s still one of my favorites for sure. It’s been ages since I’ve seen him live thou. Stay awesome and keep on rockin!
